نہ سمجھا وہ اسرار ہستی نہ سمجھا
یہاں جس نے غم کی حقیقت نہ جانی
محبت میں اک درس عبرت بنے گی
مری نا مرادی مری سخت جانی
محبت کی دنیا لٹی جا رہی ہے
جوانی اور اس پر کسی کی جوانی
تصور میں ہیں عہد ماضی کی باتیں
نہ وہ سر خوشی ہے نہ وہ سرگرانی
نہ جانے کہاں تک یہ دنیا سنے گی
کسی کا فسانہ کسی کی زبانی
مجھے ہوشؔ یہ درس غم نے دیا ہے
کہ ہستی کا دھوکا ہے اک شادمانی
