رو رو لِکھیئے چِٹھِئے درداں بھرئیے پتہ پُچھیں بغداد دے واسیاں دا
دیہویں جا سُنیہڑا دُکھاں بھریا اِنہاں اکّھیاں درس پیاسیاں دا
آہیں سُولاں بھریاں سِینے سڑے وِچوں نِکلن حال ایہہ سدا اُداسیاں دا
تیرے مُڈھ قدیم دے بردیاں نُوں لوک دس دے خوف چپڑاسیاں دا
دستگیر کر تُوں مِہر علی تے کون باجھ تیرے اللّہ راسیاں دا
