رابطہ ہے مجھے شیشے سے نہ پیمانے سے
پھر وہ کیا بات ہے منسوب ہوں مے خانے سے
اہل مے خانہ سلیقے سے پئیں آب حیات
ورنہ پھر موت ہے چھلکے گی جو پیمانے سے
ایک عالم سے جدا مصلحتیں ہیں اس کی
کون ہر بات پہ الجھے ترے دیوانے سے
خرد آشوب ہے ہر نکتۂ عرفان حیات
اور بڑھتا ہے جنوں عقل کے بڑھ جانے سے
