دیکھے اسے ہر آنکھ کا یہ کام نہیں ہے
کچھ کھیل تماشائے لب بام نہیں ہے
میں معترف جرم ہوں جو چاہو سزا دو
الزام تمنا کوئی الزام نہیں ہے
وہ صبح بھی ہوتی ہے شب تار سے پیدا
جس کو خطر تیرگئ شام نہیں ہے
جو دل ہے وہ لبریز تمنا ہے مبارکؔ
اس جام سے اچھا تو کوئی جام نہیں ہے
