دیکھا جو حسن یار طبیعت مچل گئی
آنکھوں کا تھا قصور چھری دل پہ چل گئی
ہم تم ملے نہ تھے تو جدائی کا تھا ملال
اب یہ ملال ہے کہ تمنا نکل گئی
ساقی تری شراب جو شیشے میں تھی پڑی
ساغر میں آ کے اور بھی سانچے میں ڈھل گئی
دشمن سے پھر گئی نگہ یار شکر ہے
اک پھانس تھی کہ دل سے ہمارے نکل گئی
پینے سے کر چکا تھا میں توبہ مگر جلیلؔ
بادل کا رنگ دیکھ کے نیت بدل گئی
