دیتے ہیں میرے جام میں دیکھیں شراب کب
آتا ہے ماہتاب کے گھر آفتاب کب
ٹھہرا ہے اک جگہ دل خانہ خراب کب
دریا میں گھر بنا کے رہا ہے حباب کب
جب چھوڑ دی امید تو وہ مہرباں ہوئے
ناکامیوں میں بخت ہوا کامیاب کب
دیکھا ہے وصل غیر میں شب ان کو دیکھیے
الٹا اثر دکھاتی ہے تعبیر خواب کب
کیفیؔ کو رند جان کے جانے نہیں دیا
ہے بارگاہ خاص میں وہ باریاب کب
