دل و جاں ہم نثار کرتے ہیں
وہ نگاہوں سے وار کرتے ہیں
حال دل جب انہیں سناتا ہوں
آنکھ وہ اشک بار کرتے ہیں
ہم نے ان سے کبھی گلہ نہ کیا
وہ تو شکوے ہزار کرتے ہیں
آ بھی جاؤ کہ تاب ضبط نہیں
ہر گھڑی انتظار کرتے ہیں
آنکھ ان سے لڑی ہے جب اخترؔ
گل و بلبل سا پیار کرتے ہیں
