درد کی دولت بیدار عطا ہو ساقی
ہم بہی خواہ سبھی کے ہیں بھلا ہو ساقی
سخت جاں ہی نہیں ہم خود سر و خود دار بھی ہیں
ناوک ناز خطا ہے تو خطا ہو ساقی
سعئ تدبیر میں مضمر ہے اک آہ جاں سوز
اس کا انعام سزا ہو کہ جزا ہو ساقی
سینۂ شوق میں وہ زخم کہ لو دے اٹھے
اور بھی تیز زمانے کی ہوا ہو ساقی
