خواب آسودگی سنہرا ہے
زندگی پر تو سخت پہرا ہے
دھوپ نفرت کی بڑھ گئی لوگو
اب محبت پہ چھایا گہرا ہے
حق پرستوں کا نام آ تنگی
سارے عالم میں جن کا شہرہ ہے
ہو دکھاوا یا ہو عمل اچھا
فیصلہ نیتوں پہ ٹھہرا ہے
دور کتنے بھی تم رہو اخترؔ
رشتہ دل سے تو دل کا گہرا ہے
