حسرت پرواز
آغوش احتیاط میں رکھ لوں جگر کہیں
ڈرتا ہوں لے اڑے نہ کسی کی نظر کہیں
غربت میں اجنبی کا بھی ہوتا ہے گھر کہیں
دن بھر کہیں گزار دیا رات بھر کہیں
اغیار ہوں کہیں بت شوریدہ سر کہیں
سب کچھ ہو آہ میں تو ہو اپنی اثر کہیں
یوں اف نہ باغ دہر میں برباد ہو کوئی
بلبل کا آشیاں ہے کہیں بال و پر کہیں
میں آج اپنی آہ کا کرتا ہوں امتحان
ہوں آسماں زمین نہ زیر و زبر کہیں
قید قفس میں حسرت پرواز کیوں رہے
صیاد جو اڑا دے نہ ہے بال و پر کہیں
رہتی ہے ان کی یاد مری دل میں ہر گھڑی
اوجؔ ان کے دل میں کاش ہو میرا بھی گھر کہیں
