چمن میں رات بھر بنتی ہے اور دن بھر برستی ہے
نگاہ عشق و چشم حسن دو ساون کے بادل ہے
یہ جب ملتے ہیں دل پر ایک بجلی سی برستی ہے
اگر ہے زندگی منظور بے سوچے فنا ہو جا
مذاق عاشقی میں نیستی کا نام ہستی ہے
یکایک پھر چراغ امید کے ہونے لگے روشن
یہ صبح روز محشر ہے کہ شام صبح ہستی ہے
خدا سے حکم تنسیخ اجل مانگیں گے محشر میں
مگر سیمابؔ یہ تو قصۂ ما بعد ہستی ہے
