ایک دن اس نے جو مجھ سے پوچھا
کیوں مرے ملنے کا ارمان ہوا
اس کو دیکھا تو مگر آہوں کا
موجزن سینے میں طوفان ہوا
ہوئی چہرے سے نمایاں وحشت
دونوں ہاتھوں سے لیا دل کو تھام
یاس ارمان تمنا حسرت
دل سے آنکھوں میں اتر آئے تمام
کچھ جواب اس کو جو دینا چاہا
لب ملے پر نہ صدا نکلی آہ
ایک محشر تھا خیالوں کا بپا
وہ لگی چپ کہ عیاذاً باللہ
