بچہ مزدور
میں ہوں اک بچہ مزدور
بچپن سے ہوں کوسوں دور
صبح سے کام پہ جاتا ہوں
شام کو واپس آتا ہوں
میں بھی پڑھنا چاہتا ہوں
آگے بڑھنا چاہتا ہوں
کھیل کود کو وقت نہیں
کیا جی میں بد بخت نہیں
چاہتا ہوں غبارے لوں
ہم سن یاروں سے کھیلوں
لیکن کیا کر سکتا ہوں
دن بھر کام پہ رہتا ہوں
کس سے دل کی بات کہوں
کب تک میں خود پہ روؤں
حالت سے مجبور ہوں میں
اور بچہ مزدور ہوں میں
کاش کوئی مجھ کو سمجھے
مجھ سے نہ بچپن چھینے
