بقدر شوق اقرار وفا کیا
ہمارے شوق کی ہے انتہا کیا
دعا دل سے جو نکلے کارگر ہو
یہاں دل ہی نہیں دل سے دعا کیا
جو کہتے ہیں اب اس میں کچھ نہیں ہے
کوئی ان سے یہ پوچھے مجھ میں تھا کیا
نہ اس پر اختیار اپنا نہ اس پر
سر آغاز و فکر انتہا کیا
سلامت دامن امید سیمابؔ
محبت میں کسی کا آسرا کیا
