بس اس تقصیر پر اپنے مقدر میں ہے مر جانا
تبسم کو تبسم کیوں نظر کو کیوں نظر جانا
خرد والوں سے حسن و عشق کی تنقید کیا ہوگی
نہ افسون نگہ سمجھا نہ انداز نظر جانا
مئے گلفام بھی ہے ساز عشرت بھی ہے ساقی بھی
بہت مشکل ہے آشوب حقیقت سے گزر جانا
غم دوراں میں گزری جس قدر گزری جہاں گزری
اور اس پر لطف یہ ہے زندگی کو مختصر جانا
