برابر سے بچ کر گزر جانے والے
یہ نالے نہیں بے اثر جانے والے
نہیں جانتے کچھ کہ جانا کہاں ہے
چلے جا رہے ہیں مگر جانے والے
مرے دل کی بیتابیاں بھی لیے جا
دبے پاؤں منہ پھیر کر جانے والے
ترے اک اشارے پہ ساکت کھڑے ہیں
نہیں کہہ کے سب سے گزر جانے والے
محبت میں ہم تو جیے ہیں جئیں گے
وہ ہوں گے کوئی اور مر جانے والے
