اے عشق تو نے واقف منزل بنا دیا
اب مرحلوں کو اور بھی مشکل بنا دیا
اللہ رے شوق قیس کی جلوہ طرازیاں
اکثر غبار دشت کو محمل بنا دیا
میں غرق ہو رہا تھا کہ طوفان عشق نے
اک موج بے قرار کو ساحل بنا دیا
ہم نے اک آہ سرد کو شمع سحر کے ساتھ
روداد ناتمام کا حاصل بنا دیا
اے دل یہ سب امیر سخنور کا فیض ہے
ذرہ کو جس نے جوہر قابل بنا دیا
