اپنی دھوپ میں بھی کچھ جل
ہر سائے کے ساتھ نہ ڈھل
لفظوں کے پھولوں پہ نہ جا
دیکھ سروں پر چلتے ہل
دنیا برف کا تودا ہے
جتنا جل سکتا ہے جل
غم کی نہیں آواز کوئی
کاغذ کالے کرتا چل
بن کے لکیریں ابھرے ہیں
ماتھے پر راہوں کے بل
میں نے تیرا ساتھ دیا
میرے منہ پر کالک مل
آس کے پھول کھلے باقیؔ
دل سے گزرا پھر بادل
