اشکوں میں حسن دوست دکھاتی ہے چاندنی
شبنم کو چار چاند لگاتی ہے چاندنی
اب بھی اداس اداس ہیں راتیں ترے بغیر
اب بھی بجھی بجھی نظر آتی ہے چاندنی
جس نے چراغ شام غریباں بجھا دیا
اس ہاتھ کا مذاق اڑاتی ہے چاندنی
تیرے فروغ حسن سے یہ بھی نہ ہو سکا
نظروں کے حوصلے تو بڑھاتی ہے چاندنی
خوشبوئے انتظار سے مہکی ہوئی ہے رات
قابلؔ نہ جانے کس کو بلاتی ہے چاندنی
