اذاں سے نعرۂ ناقوس پیدا ہو نہیں سکتا
ابھی کچھ روز تک کعبہ کلیسا ہو نہیں سکتا
زباں سے جوش قومی دل میں پیدا ہو نہیں سکتا
ابلنے سے کنواں وسعت میں دریا ہو نہیں سکتا
بہت پنہاں رہی دل میں خلش خار تعصب کی
مگر اب امتحاں کے وقت پردہ ہو نہیں سکتا
گراں ہے جنس اور نیت خریداروں کی ابتر ہے
اب اس بازار میں الفت کا سودا ہو نہیں سکتا
