ادھر بھی آ
یہ جہد و کشمکش یہ خروش جہاں بھی دیکھ
ادبار کی، سروں پہ گھنی بدلیاں بھی دیکھ
یہ توپ یہ تفنگ یہ تیغ و سنان بھی دیکھ
او کشتۂ نگار دل آرا ادھر بھی آ
آ، اور بگل کا نغمۂ جاں آفریں بھی سن
آ، بے کسوں کا نالۂ اندوہ کیں بھی سن
آ، باغیوں کا زمزمۂ آتشیں بھی سن
او مست ساز و بربط و نغمہ ادھر بھی آ
تقدیر کچھ ہو، کاوش تدبیر بھی تو ہے
تخریب کے لباس میں تعمیر بھی تو ہے
ظلمات کے حجاب میں تنویر بھی تو ہے
آ منتظر ہے عشرت فردا ادھر بھی آ
