آنکھ اٹھائی ہی تھی کہ کھائی چوٹ
آنکھ اٹھائی ہی تھی کہ کھائی چوٹ
بچ گئی آنکھ دل پہ آئی چوٹ
درد دل کی انہیں خبر کیا ہو
جانتا کون ہے پرائی چوٹ
آئی تنہا نہ خانۂ دل میں
درد کو اپنے ساتھ لائی چوٹ
تیغ تھی ہاتھ میں نہ خنجر تھا
اس نے کیا جانے کیا لگائی چوٹ
یوں نہ قاتل کو جب یقیں آیا
ہم نے دل کھول کر دکھائی چوٹ
اور کیا کرتے ہم بلا کش غم
جو پڑی دل پہ وہ اٹھائی چوٹ
کہیں چھپتی بھی ہے لگی دل کی
لاکھ فانیؔ نے گو چھپائی چوٹ
