Uzoq… og‘ir yo‘lga chiqqan yo‘lchiman,
Bu yo‘llarda qilog‘uzim yulduzdir.
Men yurtimning pok istakli kuchiman,
U yulduzning tugalishi kunduzdir.

Tomirlarim olov kabi qaynagan,
Qonlarini kechmishlardan olmishdir,
Bilagimda irg‘ib, chopchib o‘ynagan,
Unutmakim, oyoqlaring tolmishdir.

Uzoq yo‘lning yo‘lchisiman, boraman,
Istagimni bu yo‘llardan olaman!..
