Og‘riq oldi, qayg‘u oldi, zor oldi,
So‘nik ko‘zli, bag‘ri ezik yor qoldi.

Qayda qoldi mulla Bozor – devona,
Qulog‘imga o‘qir edi afsona:
Ezgu joyga oq ot bilan kirganni,
Dil ka’basin o‘qlar bilan buzganni…

Yiqiqlardan, qabrlardan tovushlar,
O‘liklarning salomini o‘qiylar.
Borlig‘imni qo‘rqinch o‘tlar hovuchlar,
Xonaqohlar fano to‘ri to‘qiylar.

Sirli sirdan qilday bo‘lsin xabar yo‘q,
Yo‘qsa, ul-da o‘tganlardek so‘ndimi?
Oq deb, pok deb yurganlarda dil buzuq,
Yo‘qsa, fano maysalari undimi?

Alam oldi, firoq oldi, qon oldi,
Amal qoldi… Ko‘zi yoshli jon qoldi!..
