50000 texts

Italian Wikisource has reached 50000 pages with a chapter from Monete e medaglie degli Spinola. Our growth is slow because we're actively working on matching uploaded texts with scanned sources. Many new scanned books are transcribed everyday.

In an effort to improve the quality and trustability of Wikisource, texts are now
being backed with scans at many subdomains. This process is particularly advanced
at the Norwegian Wikisource, where a milestone has been reached yesterday : more
than 50% of the texts proposed at no.ws are now transcluded from the "Page" namespace
and backed with scans. Congratulations!

Following other subdomains, the french Wikisource requested and obtained the creation of an "Auteur" Namespace.
More than 2000 author pages were moved from "ns-main" to this namespace. A robot is being used to update all the links.
