As of October 2005, Wikisource is divided into language subdomains.

Here is the current list of subdomains: ar - as - az - be - bg - bn - br - bs - ca - cs - cy - da - de - el - en - eo - es - et - eu - fa - fi - fo - fr - gl - gu - he - hi - hr - hu - hy - id - is - it - ja - kn - ko - la - li - lij - lt - mk - ml - mr - nap - nl - no - or - pa - pl - pms - pt - ro - ru - sa - sah - sk - sl - sr - sv - ta - te - th - tr - uk - vec - vi - yi - zh - zh-min-nan

First check if the text you want to submit is written in a language for which a subdomain is available.

If yes, check the instructions on that subdomain.

Some subdomains forbid works still copyrighted in their home countries due to local legal concerns and wmf:Resolution:Licensing policy, even when they are in the public domain in the USA where this site is hosted, usually due to pre-1929 publication. While respecting the copyright law and regulation where you are (especially if you are outside the USA), please submit this kind of works to this multilingual domain with Template:PD-US-1923-abroad. They will be moved into the subdomains when locally acceptable.

If not, then you may submit your text on this site. Check the main page of the language your text is written in.
