User talk:Member~sourceswiki
I see that you have been working on moving the encyclopedia from Wikibooks. I'm not trying to step on your toes, and indeed I'd like to help you out in terms of adding content. I guess you are completely ignoring the issues with trademark violations regarding Encyclopædia Britannica. I've been trying to find a workable solution to this issue, and I'd like to work with you rather than try to fight. If you could, try to leave a note on my user talk page about what your intentions are, and what direction you want to go with this project. I really want to help you out, honestly! 1911 Encyclopedia project[edit]
I really like the idea of putting Britannica online. As part of my tidy up of areas like the Community Portal I have created a page for Wikisource projects and more specifically a project called 1911 Encyclopedia. Feel free to jump on in and help organise it!. GregRobson 9 July 2005 13:23 (UTC)
- I thought you might want to see this as well. Robert Horning 9 July 2005 17:49 (UTC)
- Yes, sorry I missed you out. Your idea is inspired, and I look forward to working with you in getting the 44,000,000 words or so online! GregRobson 19:53, 9 July 2005 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed[edit]
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Member. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Member~sourceswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
