Piedmontese flag, called "Ël drapò"

Hi. My name is Simon and I'm 19. I'm a contributor of the Piedmontese Wikipedia and of the very small Piedmontese Wikisource. Hope to be useful! :D

"According to research by IRES (an independent public research institute), Piedmontese — the language of Piedmont, a region in the northwestern area of Italy — is spoken or at least well understood by over two million people, while another million people can understand it at least a bit. As normal for a minority language, the people who read and write it are fewer. There isn't a precise number, but my guess is a figure of around 100,000 people. These are actually huge numbers, placing it in the first spots in regional languages in Italy per number of speakers."
