I am originally from Baldwin, Long Island, and am currently living in Waltham, Massachusetts. I studied history & East Asian Studies at Brandeis University, and graduated in 2004. I also spent a semester at Jouchi Daigaku in Tokyo, in the spring of 2003. I'm currently working at the Museum of Science, Boston, where I got to staff the LotR Exhibit over the summer. A truly amazing time was had, and, as first jobs go, I really can't complain.
At Wikisource, I hope to add a considerable number of English translations of Japanese texts. Unfortunately, my only sources are David Lu's "Japan: A Documentary History," and the Japanese-language Wikisource. Lu's book contains many documents, but most of the truly important ones, such as the Constitution and Imperial Rescripts, are abridged or excerpted. And the Japanese Wikisource provides a difficulty as my translation skills are not quite up to par.
