Toshbaqa va chiyon
Toshbaqa birla bo‘lib o‘rtoq chiyon,
Ahd etishib do‘st bo‘lishib jonajon.
Bir kuni qilmoqchi bo‘lishdi safar,
Bog‘lashubon chiqdi ikovi kamar.
Yo‘lda chiyon toshbaqaga lof urub,
Dediki: «Boqsam agar o‘ylab turib,
Mancha sanga suyguli yo‘q mehribon,
Sen tanu go‘yo anga men misli jon».
Bul aroda yo‘l tushib anhorga,
Qoldi chiyon hayrati dushvorga.
Toshbaqa boqib dedi: «Ey oshno?
Nega ko‘rindi yuzingda jofa?»
Dedi chiyon «Suzmoqa yo‘q odatim,
Qolmoqa ajrab yana yo‘q toqatim.
Toshbaqa dedi: «Yema g‘am, min meni,
To ko‘tarib suvdan o‘tarman seni».
Toshbaqani mindi chiyon yotqizib,
Toshbaqa ketdi suv ichiga suzib.
Yo‘lda chiyon toshbaqadek do‘stiga
Urdi bir-ikki nishini po‘stiga…
Toshbaqa bildi, dedi: «Fe’li yomon,
Ne harakatlar qilasan bu zamon?»
Dedi chiyon: «Zahar soluv odatim,
Odatimi tarkiga yo‘q toqatim.
Garchi turubsan menga xizmat etib,
Men solaman zahrimi fursat topib.
Toshbaqa dedi: «Bu na fosid xayol
Qayt bu ishingdan, bali, nishingni ol.
Do‘st debon, dushmanning qilma ishin!
O‘yla senam, oqibating kelmishin!
Dedi chiyon: «Bo‘lmasa o‘z xohishim,
Boshqa nasihatga meni yo‘q ishim.»
Toshbaqa ham bildiki, bo‘lmas boqib,
Sho‘mg‘idi bir, ketdi chiyon ham oqib.
Hissa: kimi g‘ayrni ulfat etar.
O‘z-o‘zicha boshiga kulfat yetar.
