Why do I still have characters that don't appear, though I've installed the fonts? unsigned comment by Dudi (talk) .

Usually it's because you missed a step. Try again, and if it still doesn't work, then you can tell us what steps you took. Also, under the "Hexes (Codes for Wiki/HTML) for characters tabled above" section, the first set of characters are forced to be shown improperly to see if there is a difference. It will either show boxes or question marks, depending on how updated your browser is. Hopefully this is of help. ~Troy 03:30, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why might some letters don't appear[edit]

  • Because, all of the letters would only appear if we install "New Athena Unicode".
  • "MPH 2B Damase", shows most of them only, not the all the diacritics. However, "MPH 2B Damase" shows other old scripts, such as the Phoenician script. --Dudi 21:42, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, that's something to note. Well, if you're still having trouble, then make sure to remember that and also ask for any help here. Perhaps it should be noted on the test page itself, but it seems to hit the mark on this talk page. The unicode fonts are still getting developed and updated, so as long as you've got the latest version of New Athena Unicode or MPH 2B Damase (whichever font is more suitible; usually the latter), then you should be fine. ~Troy 23:38, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
