Ko‘cha chang… tuproqda ko‘z ochib bo‘lmaydur,
Kun issig’, harorat nafasni bo‘g‘adur.
Ko‘cha tang… tiqinda yo‘l ochib bo‘lmaydur,
Yurakda borliqqa zo‘r nafrat tug‘adur.

Tili yo‘q, gunohsiz va yuvosh hayvonlar
Muqaddas nom bilan yuz minglab so‘yilur.
Ozmidi to‘kilgan shu qadar pok qonlar?
“Savob” deb, “qurbon” deb yanami qo‘yilur?

Bir elkim besh yildur qonlarg’a belang’an;
Otasi o‘g‘lini “dushman” deb bo‘g‘adur.
So‘ng burda noni ham qolmasdan talang’an;
Yosh go‘dak bolasi: “Bir burda non!” – deydur..

Ochliq ham har kuni “qurbonliq” so‘raydur,
Har kuni unga ham yuzlarcha qurbonlar.
Qirilib – tugalish dahshati o‘raydur,
Yanami behuda gunohsiz, sof qonlar?

Bir burda noni yo‘q go‘dakga bergali,
Minglarcha qo‘yi bor qurbonliq qilg’ali!..
