Qog‘ozdan qayiqchalar
by Robindranat Tagor, translated by Abdulhamid Choʻlpon

Har kun qog’ozdan yasalg’on qayiqchalarimni bir-bir ketin nishob orqag’a oqizamen.

Ularning har biriga yerning qora harfi bilan o’zimning otimni va o’zim yasag’on qishloqning nomini yozamen.

Ishonamenkim, o’zliq yot yerlarda yashayturg’on birov haligilarni topib tolib o’qur va mening kimligimni bilar.

Kichkina kemalarimni o’z bog’imizda o’skan “shayvoli” chechaklari bilan ko’mib yuboramen, ishonamenkim, shuning chechaklari qayda bo’lsa ham bir joyda yerningbetiga chiqushibdirlar.

Qog’ozdan yasalg’on kemachalarimni oqizib yuborib, ko’zlarimni ko’kka ko’taramen va ko’ramenkim, kichkinagina oq bulutchalar o’zlarining oppoq va qabarg’on yelkanlarini yoyib boradirlar.

Mening kemalarim bilan poygak quvishqali o’z kemalarini oqizib yotqon u ko’kdagi o’rtog’imning kimligini bilamen!

Kech kirganda yuzimni qo’llarim bilan to’samen va tushimda ko’ramenkim, qog’ozdan yasalg’on kemachalarim yarim kecha yulduzlari ostida suza-suza yiroqlashib boradirlar.

Ularning ichida uyqu parilari, u parilarning ukalari bo’lsa, uyqu ulashayotqonlardan iborat…
