Nadan ovora dashti g‘amda nolon kezdugim bilmam,
Magar Majnuni Layloi nashoti bazmi irfonam.

Giriftori savodi xattu xoli safhai dardam,
Asiri kulfati ranju baloyu dog‘i hirmonam.

Faqidi e’tiboram sarvat ashobin qapusida,
Sadaftak bahri besomoni olam ichra uryonam.

Havodis sarsari har yona kezdurmaq-la har soat
Pareshonam, pareshonam, pareshonam, pareshonam.

G‘inou sarvati mardumdan istig‘nodayam, ammo—
Faqiram, garchi taxti faqr maydoninda sultonam.

Dagul har zarra kam o‘z olaminda qursi xovardan,
Bu yanglig‘ go‘shai uzlatda go‘yo bir Sulaymonam.

Davoi zaxmi nosurim emishdur suhbati orif,
Vale mahdufi paykoni baloi qavmi nodonam.

Eshit, yo rab, bu Ajziy e’tiborinkim, deyur har dam:
—Umidi afving etmak no‘la gar mumtozi nuqsonam.
