ان يخرجه عن ملك الدير المذكور مادام عامر بالرهبان دايما و السبح اله دايما ابدا

"This holy book belongs by wakf (gift or agente for various purposes) to the church of the Virgin in the convent wf Baramus. And no one has power from the Lord (may he be glorified) to take it out of the possession of the said convent as long as it continues to be inhabited by monks; and glory be to God for ever.” On the last leaf of the book the scribe has practised making in outline the borders and small illuminations which begin and end each quire. his manuscript is written in the Memphitic (Bohairic) dialect. in a good, regular hand of the latter half of the xivth century, and contains:
