3) International and worldwide levels of sports competitions include regular sports competitions sanctioned by the International Olympic Committee and/or the International Sports Federations, such as:

•Summer Olympics

•World Championship of respective sports

•Asian Games

•Asian Championship of respective sports

•South East Asia Games (SEA Games)

•ASEAN Championships of respective sports

•Special Olympics

Sports competitions shall not include exhibition games.

SECTION 4. QUALIFICATION OF GRANTEES. To qualify as a grantee, the athlete must:

a. have proof of residency which can be any one (1) of the following:

1. birth certificate showing he/she was born in the City of Alaminos, or a voter's ID registered in the City of Alaminos, or a barangay certification indicating residency for at least six (6) months;

2. birth certificate of a parent born in the City of Alaminos, or voter's ID registered in Alaminos City, or a barangay certification indicating residency for at least six (6) months;

3. school registration form indicating he/she is an officially enrolled student for an Alaminos City-based school for at least six (6) months and is duly representing the City of Alaminos, Pangasinan in the competitions she/he is participating in;

b. have informed the City Government in writing of his/her participation and that she/he is an official representative of the city/province and/or the country in a particular competition before the actual competition for records purposes;

c. be able to submit original and/or certified true copy of certification and appropriate documentations that he/she participated and won first (1st), second (2nd) or third (3rd) place or gold, silver or bronze medal accordingly in a duly accredited sports or athletic competitions in the provincial/regional, national, international and worldwide levels;

d. have been duly certified by the City Sports Development Council that the grantee has satisfactorily submitted and has passed the basic requirements set forth in this ordinance through an appropriate resolution of the City Sports Development Council.

e. For coaches and/or trainers

1) for national competitions must be a Filipino citizen, must submit authentic certification from appropriate authority/agency and the grantee that he/she had been the official coach/trainer of the grantee for not less than six (6) months; and
