An Act to consolidate and amend the law. relating to the office and duties of Administrator General. it is expedient •to consolidate and Preamble. amend the law relating to the office and duties of Administrator General; It is hereby enacted as follows PART I. PRELIMINARY. 1. This. Act may be called “The Administrator Short title. General’s Act, 1874 :“ It extends to the whole of British India and, so Local extent. far as regards British subjects of Her Majesty, to the dominions of Princes and $tates in India in alliance with 11cr Majesty; And it shall come into force at once. 2. Act No. XXIV of 1867 (to consolidate and Repeal of amend the law relating to the office and duties of Administrator Acts. General) and Act No. XIX of 186 (to facilitate Administration on to the estates of deceased .British subjects in the hyderabad Assigned Districts) and Act No: V of 1870 (so far as it relates to the Administrator General) are hereby repeaTed. All things duly done under any of the enactments hereby repealed shall be considered a having been done under this Act, 3. III I Comencement. .1
