O’tli suv
Zo‘r dengizning to‘lqinidir, bag‘rida
Yuz yillarning qonli qo‘rqinch izi bor.
Yumshoq suvdan biriktirgan og‘zida
Shafqat bilmas isyonlarning so‘zi bor!
Qanday mag‘rur ahmoqlarkim, tinch yerda
Tot olurlar uni qarg‘ab, so‘kmoqdan.
Yo‘lchi bo‘lib, yo‘lga chiqqach, bu yerda
Jon berarlar dahshatidan, qo‘rqmoqdan.
Qora bulut ko‘zlaridan ko‘p choqlar
Hovuch-hovuch yangi kuchlar oladir.
Ey tinch yerda kular yuzli o‘ynoqlar,
Sizga yolg‘iz qovog‘ini soladir.
Savatingiz, xurjuningiz, ko‘rdikim,
Ko‘z yoshlari, qayg‘ular-la to‘lmishdir.
Uchib o‘tgan yo‘lchilardan so‘rdikim,
Qo‘lingizda jon yigitlar o‘lmishdir.
Ko‘pirar ul, hovliqar ul, toshar ul,
Go‘ringizdan na’ra tortib oshar ul!..
