Men ham sevaman

Oydin kechalarda ko‘kka ko‘z tikib,
Yorug‘ yulduzlardan sevgi kutdim men.
Har yulduz tig‘iga ruh bilan tegib,
Uzun tunlar bo‘yi kutib o‘tdim men.
Yurganda, turganda har go‘zal narsa
Menim ko‘zlarimga sevgi ko‘rindi.
Sevgiga yot bo‘lgan haqiqiy shu’la,
O‘tlar, olovlar-chi,
pilpillab so‘ndi!
Yigitlik ko‘karib yashargan damda
Har yumshoq tovushga tutqun bo‘ldim men…
Har go‘zal chehraga ko‘ngil berganda
Borliqni u uchun qurbon qildim men…

Endi u kunlarim o‘tib ketdilar….
Endi turmushimda oydin kechlar yo‘q.
Vafosiz sevgilar o‘chib bitdilar…
Angladim: sevgida har ko‘ngil buzuq!
Ko‘nglim quruq emas, yana sevgi bor,
Faqat bu sevgida aldanish yo‘qdir.
Horgan ko‘zlarimda xayol yana bor,
Faqat u xayollar nurdan tiniqdir.
Endi har nafasda yana kuyaman,
Faqat Majnun bo‘lib elni sevaman,
Unga hurmat bilan bo‘yin egaman,
Boshimni u uchun dorga qo‘yaman!..
