La gaita
¡ Ay, gaita melguera !
Dulciquina gaita,
Quexíu de mimosa,
Sonsonín de xana,
Que vienes de lloñe
Cantando que canta
Per ente les flores,
Per ente la mata,
Con zalameríes,
Tan blandia, tan blandia;
Y unes risiquines
Llumíos de l' alba,
Ó con señardades
De tardi enllutada.
Hay, gaita melguera,
Mimosuca gaita !
Como del ensame
To zumbíu fai gala.
A veces yes triste
Como el ¡ ay ! que llancia
Trastayá d' amores
La probe rapaza;
Otres, aloyera,
Reblincona pasas
Finxendo rebelgos
Qu' alleguen á l' alma.
Tu son ye marmuriu
Reguerín de plata;
Celosa nel fuelle
Tormentes españan.
¡ Ay, gaita melguera,
Dulciquina gaita !
Quexíu de mimosa,
Soniquín de xana;
¡ Qué coses me dicis
Que fienden á l' alma !
