So‘yla, mening sevgan go‘zal kiyigim,
Nechun muncha mendan qochib, uzoqlarga tushibsan?
Go‘yo bu yer seni sig‘dirmag‘onday,
Borib-borib shu tog‘liqqa qochibsan!
Aytgil menga, ey qorako‘z oppog‘im,
Kimdir seni bu erkinli dunyo ichra qo‘ymagan?
Sening yirtqich bir jonivor emasliging bilsa-da,
Kim ul seni ko‘zni yumib, mundan qo‘ymay haydagan?
Ehtimolkim, sening shu xislatingdan
Haydaganlar erur, bu keng yerlardan.
Kel, mundan so‘ng o‘zim ila birga bo‘l,
Birga yurib, birga turib, o‘ynab-kul!
Seni saqlab kelg‘on ushbu tog‘laring
Endi mundan sungra sira soqlolmas.
Kecha-kunduz «ov» oxtarib yurgan u och bo‘rilar,
Seni qo‘lg‘a tushirgusi, tushirmaguncha qo‘ymas.
Shuning uchun qo‘rqma, menga kel yaqin,
Tashla mangu vafo qilmas ul tog‘in…
Men seni chin asraguvchi bir tog‘man,
Qo‘rqma endi, kel yonimg‘a, seni o‘zim saqlayman…
