Ketdingmi manguga tashlab,
Qoldimmi qayg‘ularim-la?
Hijroning kuyini boshlab
Yig‘lovchi cholg‘ularim-la?

Sevgimdan so‘nggi malaklar
To‘p-to‘g‘ri ko‘kkami uchdi?
Ko‘nglimdan toza tilaklar
Yovningmi bag‘riga tushdi?

Ortiq sen mendan uzoqda
Ko‘zlarni o‘ynatasanmi?
Ortiq sen boshqa buloqda
Dillarni qaynatasanmi?

Ortiq sen undagi bog‘da…
Ortiq men yakkami qoldim?
Faryod yo‘q… barcha jahon jim,
Yer yutsa yaxshi shu chog‘da!..

Ketdingmi sen meni tashlab?
Qoldimmi qayg‘uni boshlab?
