Kesilg‘on umid
Ko‘b chokdan beri sevgi ko‘kida
Sen bilan yoshab, sen bilan yurdim.
Baxtimning qushi talpinib uchqoch,
Qo‘nar o‘rnini yuksakda ko‘rdim.
Ko‘rgach o‘ylamay, sira to‘xtamay,
Baxtim so‘ngidan o‘kday yugurdim.
Borib yetishgach, ul o‘runga men:
Baxtimning qushin bir guldan topdim.
Gul ochilg‘ondi islarin sochib,
Nozli qiz kabi bag‘rini ochib.
Qush ham sayrardi ko‘b sevinch bilan
Gul butog‘ida o‘tli un chekib.
Gul-da istardi shunday bir zamon,
Oh!.. Baxtsizlik qo‘ymadi omon.
Qushning bag‘rig‘a o‘q kelib tegdi,
Gul butog‘idan tushdi-da o‘ldi.
Ko‘b chokdan beri to‘plangan dardlar
Yurakda qoldi, umid kesildi.
