Termak istab bir-ikki dasta chechak
Gulsara chiqdi qo‘shni boqchasiga.
Ilashib bir tikan – shox orqasiga,
Yirtilib qoldi shunda shohi etak…
Gulni bermoqchi bo‘ldi sevganiga.
Sevinib, hovliqib, shoshib keldi:
«Mana, bir arzimas hadya», – dedi,
Sevinib, gerdayib shu qilganiga.
Sevgani ko‘rdi: yirtilibdir etak!
Dedi: «Kimlar bilan quvishding sen?»
Dedi: «Yolg‘iz tikanni ko‘rdim men…»
Dedi: «Menmas sen o‘ylagan tentak!»
Yerga – tuproqqa tushdi guldasta,
Sindi qiz qalbi shunda birpasda.
