Geliyorsun  (1924)
by Abdulhamid Choʻlpon

(Sharq Qurultoyi vakillariga)

Yo’ldosh Fayzulla Sayidga armug’onim.

Geliyorsung dag’, tepeler asharaq,
Geliyorsung su, dengizler gecherek,
Geliyorsung amaline-qosharaq,
Geliyorsung o’z yolingi secherek.

Choqdan beri so’nmish olan guneshing
Tepelerin yeng bashindan go’rundi,
Choqdan beri yuz do’ndurmish mexveshing
Emelinging nurlarina burundi.

Her safxasi alchalmani yazarak,
Sening uchun qan ag’layan tarixing,
U yollari xayalile bozarak
Yazmadadir parlayishin yarning.
“Sharq go’zeli” deye g’arbi yandiran
Kara sachli, kara go’zli u sening
Go’zel qizing, o’lumleri andiran
Chexresile ag’liyordu: Ben onung
Goz yashlari arasinda batiyor,

Bog’uluyor o’luyordum… Gelmiyor
Gelmiyordi imdadima xech kishi
Kesilmishdi sanki jaxan nefesi.

Dag’, tepeler, aship yevet sen gelding
Ben de shimdi aliyorum geng nefes;
Sen de zaten ruxen esir degilding,
Yalgiz sening vujudunu kisardi
Alchak g’arbing geydirdigi dar kafes…
Vujudunga pek dardi.

Geliyorsun dag’, tepeler asharak,
Geliyorsun cho’l, saxrolar gecherek
Bekliyorum ben de xayat icherek,
Yullarina gul laleler sacharak,
Kuchag’imi acharak!
Xararetli, selamimi kabul et
Xurmetimi butun Sharka takdim et!
