Ezilgan dehqong‘a
Yuzi sarg‘ayg‘on, beli bukulgan dehqon! Ko‘tar boshingni, och ko‘zingni! Ustingdagi oliq-soliq yukingdan qirq foizi kamaytirildi.
O‘zgarishning alg‘ov-dalg‘ov chog‘larida boshingdagi davlat qushi uchdi, seni qashshoqliq devi quchdi. Non deb kesakni yeding, ot deb eshakka minding. Ho‘kuzing ketdi, ozug‘ing bitdi. Moling talandi, qozoning yalandi, daraxting yiqitildi, o‘tining yoqiddi, boshingg‘a yong‘oq chaqildi… Lekin shunisi ham g‘animatkim, nimg‘urma joning omon qoddi.
Sen shuncha mag‘alliq va dag‘alliqlarg‘a chidading, sira indamading, «sabr qilsam, g‘o‘radan halvo pishar» va «qorong‘u kechaning so‘ngi yorug‘dir» deding-u, umid ipini mahkam tutding, oxiri garovni yutding. Mana, hozir hammaning ko‘zi senga tikiddi. Sening tomoningga yuz o‘gurishlar-yugurishlar boshlandi.
Lekin sen bunday «tap-tapi zag‘omo»larg‘a mag‘rur bo‘lib jim turma, o‘zingni unutma. Haq talashmoqdin tortinma. Chunki haq olinur, berilmas.
Shuning uchun, ay dehqoni go‘l, o‘z foydang yo‘lida «sho‘rapo‘sht» bo‘l!
