Dam bo‘lurki, qalbim – tongning shamoli
Qarshisida qaltiragan yaproqdek –
Asta-sekin titrab ketar… men ham tek,
Jim qolaman unga quloq solgali,
Butun esim, sezgim bilan tolgali…
Ba’zan xayol etagini tutqizmas,
Yot yerlarda o‘z boshicha yo‘q bo‘lur.
Shunda es ham qalb tiliga tushunmas,
Boshi qotar, qo‘pollanur, to‘nglanur.
Shunda birdan g‘aybdan tovush: «Ey shoir,
Quruq qolding saodatli damdan!» – der,
«Damdan!» – der…
