O sa iyong pagbabasá
Ay may matutunghayan ka
Na tunay na sumisintá,

Ng̃uni’t ang aking panulat
Ay di makapagsisiwalat

Kakambal ko kaya’y hirap?
Tinding: ikaw’y maniwala
Na ang aking puso’t diwa
Sa iyo’y sangla kong pawa;
Ang puso ko’y humahang̃a,
Ng̃uni’t umíd itong dila,
Ito kaya’y malikmata?
Ang may pagsintang malabis
Ay umid at nahahapis,
Ligaya na ng̃ang masilip
Yaong kanyang nilalang̃it,
¿Tubsin mo kaya sa sakit
