Bir so‘rog‘

O‘ktam yurakli botir yo‘ldoshim,
Ezgu tilakli yovqur qo‘ldoshim!
Ayt menga — nechun qayg‘ulidirsan,
Qayg‘iga botib nima o‘ylarsan?
Burung‘i holing bu kun qolmamish,
Qizil yuzlaring so‘lib sarg‘aymish.
Tog‘ kabi gavdang, qil kabi muchang
Burung‘i holdan butun o‘zgarmish.
Ayt, bunga sabab kimlar bo‘lmishlar?
Seni bu holg‘a kimlar solmishlar?
Sen bunga javob birdan bermassan!
Kimlar ekanin menga aytmassan!
Mayli, aytmasang menga aytmagil,
Bu senga sirdir, mendan yoshirg‘il!
Biroq, ey yo‘ldosh, men buni ko‘pdan
Sezganman, sening ruhsiz yuzingdan…
Sening sirlaring menga belgili:
Yig‘lag‘ulikdir, emas kulgili.
Mayli, sen, bunga ortiq qayg‘urma,
Ruhing tushirib, umiding uzma.
Bu kabi ishlar choqli bo‘ladir,
Uzoq bormayin bitib ketadir.
Senga kerakdir chidamli bo‘lmoq,
Bir ozgina choq jim kutib turmoq.
Shul choq senga ko‘b ko‘mak yetadir,
Qorong‘iliqlar shu kez bitadir,
Ungacha sen ham qayg‘urib turma,
Yurgan yo‘lingdan orqag‘a burma!
Bu senga mendan osig‘li kengosh,
Qulog‘ingda tut, sen, buni, yo‘ldosh!
