Ang Mga Mata Mo
Nang ikaw ay bago sumipot sa lupa’y
Ipinanghiram ka ng mata sa tala,
Dalawang bituing sa hinhi’y sagana
Ang naging mata mong mayaman sa awa.
Sa mga mata mo’y aking nasisilip
Ang bughaw na pilas ng nunung̃ong lang̃it,
Mababaw na dagat ang nasa sa gilid
Na ang naglalayag ay pusong malinis.
Di ayos matalim, ni hugis matapang,
Ni hindi maliit, ni di kalakihan,
Ang mga mata mo’y maamo’t mapungay.
Kahinhina’t amo ang nanganganinag,
Kalinisa’t puri ang namamanaag,
Umaga ang laging handog mo sa palad.
